Mass is a really important part of the Catholic life of Cardinal Wiseman School. It is important that our students experience mass at school and have the chance to strengthen their faith and be educated in Catholic life. Every week we celebrate mass with our chaplain, Fr Eamonn. Each class will have mass on a rota system so that all students have this experience, often we will be joined by a class from a local primary school as a means of strengthening links between the schools.
The Chaplaincy and RE departments strive to make mass an enjoyable experience, ensuring that each class is properly prepared for mass by encouraging students to lead readings, serve at the altar and learn beautiful songs with which to praise God.  We will also have whole year group masses throughout the year so that students can learn about the Catholic faith, become familiar with a church environment and celebrate God’s love together as a year group.
