Covid-19 arrangements

Arrangements for Vulnerable/critical worker children

Pupils are to arrive between 8:30-9:00 am through RECEPTION.
Upon arrival all pupils are required to wash their hands as per government advice. Staff will register pupils and monitor temperatures via infrared thermometers.
Pupils will work in small groups throughout the day - while observing social distancing measures.
Pupils will have opportunities to complete independent study on Google classrooms, undertake PE, and activities with different members or groups of staff.
Lunch will be provided for all pupils.

Arrangements for Year 10 children

Your child is encouraged to attend, unless they are self-isolating or clinically vulnerable. Pupils are only to attend school if no-one in their household is showing symptoms of Covid-19 (a new continuous cough, a high temperature, a loss of or change in normal sense of taste or smell).

Pupils are to attend school on their allocate day and arrive at their allotted time - please see the letter you received.
Pupils are to enter school through the MATHS DEPARTMENT ENTRANCE.

Pupils will work in an assigned classroom and remain in that room, at the same desk throughout the day. Classrooms have been adapted to ensure social distancing is maintained.
Pupils will have lessons from English, Maths, Science and RE teachers, as well as an opportunity to complete Hegarty Maths and have a period of PSHE or a lesson with Options teachers each day.
Pupils will have staggered break and lunch times to avoid mixing of pupils in different groups.
Lunch will be provided for all pupils.
Pupil dismissals will also be staggered. Pupils are not to wait for friends and to make their way directly home.

Pupils should avoid using public transport as per government advice.
If pupils are walking with others they should maintain distances as per government advice.
Parents are not to wait at school gates if collecting pupils.

If you child will not be attending you should inform school in the usual way.
