Recycling
In an effort to improve our recycling, 12 wheelie bins are placed in the car park and around school. Also 60 containers similar to the ones Birmingham City Council distributes to homes for recycling newspapers are placed in classrooms so that any unwanted paper or cardboard may be easily moved to the wheelie bins for recycling. A red Ragtex Collection Bin has also been positioned just outside the pupil entrance. Any clean clothing, blankets, sheets, curtains, paired shoes and handbags may be placed inside but they must be put into black bags beforehand. Books can also be placed in the container but also in separate bags. These items will go to the developing countries. We also get money back for them.
