Displays in the classroom should be tools for teaching and learning. The proper place to display excellent student work is in the corridors. Display boards are allocated by Christina and it is the responsibility of Departments to keep their boards in good order and update them at least annually. Please see Christina if help is needed from support staff with display work. Work should not be removed from some-one else’s board without their permission. Any damage to boards should be reported to Tom Cresswell (school caretaker).

Work that is put up on boards should be of the highest possible standard. Every effort should be taken to remove spelling mistakes and ensure that presentation is of the highest order. Work should represent all abilities of students. It should be clearly labelled with the student’s name and some detail of how the work was produced and in which Key Stage/Year Group. When you display students’ work or other information please staple any items on to noticeboards and not directly onto any walls. This will not only prevent damaging the walls but also injuries to cleaning staff who may have to clean the walls.
