Each Department has a Departmental Handbook containing all necessary information and procedure pertaining to the Department. Each member of the Department should have a copy.
Teacher File
Every teacher should have a copy of a teacher file which contains all necessary information pertaining to their teaching groups, planning and schemes of work.
The teacher file should contain:
- Class Lists
- KS2 data
- Target grade/levels
- Disadvantaged status
- SEN status
- Tracking grades/levels
- Tracking data
- Seating Plans
- Target grade/level
- Current grade/levels colour coded
- Disadvantaged status
- SEN status
4. IEPs
- For all pupils with a statement of Special Educational Needs
5. Learning Plans
- Any lesson plans which have been annotated by the Head of Department/Line manager
6. Lesson Observations
- Print out from Bluesky
7. Learning walk feedback
8. Work scrutiny
- Records of any work scrutiny carried out by the Head of Department or Line manager
Leadership File
Every Head of department should have a leadership file which contains the following information:
- Department Evaluation Form
- Department Development Plan
- Exam analysis
- Tracking data
- Assessment and moderation arrangements
- Curriculum map
- Learning walk data
- Work Scrutiny data
Heads of Faculty will also have a leadership file which will contain all the above information for each of the subjects in their faculty and a record of resultant actions.
