At Cardinal Wiseman we recognise the importance of ensuring that new staff are made to feel welcome and supported during their first year at Cardinal Wiseman. All staff are here to help new staff settle in and will assist and help in any way they can.

Prior to start date all staff are invited for an Induction day during which they will meet with key members of staff to be updated on school policies as well as having time within their new department. During this day the following meetings will occur:

Safeguarding with Esther Short.

Behaviour management with Dominic Kerr or Esther Short.

Schools computer systems with Simon Burley.

If a new member of staff cannot make this induction day then these meetings will occur once the post has been taken up.
