The timetable for instrumental lessons is issued in early September. The lessons are usually 20 – 30 minutes long and are rotated wherever possible. Pupils collect a permission slip from Stewart Gardner (Head of Music) at the start of the school day to enable them to leave their normal lesson at the stated time. It is the pupils’ responsibility to make up the work missed during this time and so if there are any problems please let Stewart know. It is important that teachers do not prevent pupils from attending their music lesson due to the fact that parents pay for these lessons. If staff want copies of any specific times and pupils please let Stewart know and he can e-mail them to you. If there are any difficulties in terms of specific lessons then let Stewart know and he’ll see what he can do.
