It is an essential part of our professionalism to be on time for the start of school, for all our lessons, whenever we are on duty and for the start of meetings. Classes should not be waiting for a teacher to arrive after the lesson is due to start, and indeed teachers should be waiting for their classes in the appropriate teaching room. As a duty of care never leave a class or any group of students unattended.
