A council of 5 members will be elected annually in order to:
1) Organise and monitor staff social issues – events, any member of staff who leaves, gets married, becomes ill etc.
2) Support and advise individual staff members who may wish to raise an issue.
3) Advise SLT with regard to the Staff issues.
Four members of the council will be elected by the staff and there must be at least one Teacher and at least one non-Teacher elected. The fifth member will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
An annual subscription is collected by the council from each member of staff once to be used for any member of staff who leaves, gets married, becomes ill etc. Any funds remaining unspent will roll over to next year. Accounts will be available upon request.
