All pupils are reminded of the school Internet Usage policy on logging on to the system by an on-screen message which they have to accept before entering the school system. Posters are displayed explaining the rules for Responsible Internet Use.

Internet access within Cardinal Wiseman should be proactively monitored by responsible staff during lessons and may be monitored remotely by ICT support.

any misuse of the Internet – whether deemed accidental or deliberate – should be immediately logged on eportal and/or reported to ICT support. The first of these is to ensure students receive appropriate remedial counselling in the use of the Internet – the second the help ensure inappropriate web-sites are blocked or disabled.
