Any data which is stored on a portable device (laptop, memory stick, hard drive etc) must be encrypted if that device is removed from the secure environment of the school.

If you are likely to be transporting information in this way – especially data about students – you must have appropriate encryption software installed on your computer or device.

The recommended method to store information to be accessed off-site is to use a password protected system provided by the school such as Google-drive or Email.
