Our staff know our pupils well and to enable excellent learning to take place they employ a variety of activities and approaches within lessons. Every teacher has high aspirations for our learners. This means that our pupils are challenged to think differently about how they approach learning. We ask them to frame their thinking in such a way that they can say:

I want to… I am able to… I can… and so I will.

In this way pupils start to own their ambition and take responsibility for their learning and as they become more independent they build a natural momentum.

They go “Forward in Faith”.

“The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it but that it is too low and we reach it.”
