We know that all of our pupils want to learn in a school which is calm, stimulating and secure. For this reason, and because we believe that each individual member of our community is worthy of a profound and unique respect, we promote the highest expectations of personal behaviour and conduct.

It is in justice to all our pupils, parents and staff that we consistently and persistently work towards a behaviour policy which is transparent and fair and inspired above all by the values of Jesus.

To this end, and to support the attitude to learning of all our pupils throughout the entire school, we have developed our Emmaus Centre, a well-resourced, positive behaviour provision, as a means to helping individual students reflect more deeply on the choices they have made and begin to find their way again. Its ethos lies within the vision of the school as a whole: namely, that every pupil can be successful.

It is our intention at Cardinal Wiseman Catholic Technology College that our school remains a place free of all disruption and discourtesy of any kind and where all our young people come to a fuller knowledge of their own true worth and potential.

“The school is incredibly quiet and so clean. The pupils are so polite.”
